El INAP, en el marco de su Plan Estratégico General 2012-2015, puso en marcha una línea de financiación para la contratación de proyectos de investigación que se inscriban en sus líneas prioritarias de trabajo: innovación social, innovación administrativa, innovación formativa, estudios territoriales, responsabilidad social corporativa y ordenación y gestión de personas.
En este marco realizó un informe a principios del año 2016 para analizar la implementación de esta convocatoria, atendiendo especialmente a los proyectos presentados y aprobados, los productos obtenidos y la difusión del conocimiento generado.
