Informe elaborado por el INAP en el año 2012 sobre los efectos de la supresión de las entidades locales de ámbito territorial inferior al municipio.
El estudio realiza un recorrido sobre las características definitorias de las entidades de ámbito territorial inferior al municipio en diferentes aspectos: normativa reguladora, estructura de gobierno y administración, competencias, caracterización como instrumento de participación y creación y supresión en la legislación autonómica. En sus conclusiones se abordan las oportunidades y debilidades existentes respecto a esta figura.
