El Ente Vasco de la Energía establece alianzas con varias entidades deportivas a fin de reducir las emisiones a la atmósfera

Debido las necesidades de varios equipos deportivos de realizar trayectos los fines de semana para asistir a eventos deportivos, el Ente Vasco de la Energía ha puesto en marcha la iniciativa “Juntos en el Bus Deportivo AIE” (Kirol Busean Elkarrekin AIE), que pretende aumentar la capacidad de generación de rutas para ampliar el servicio de autobús a tantos clubes, equipos y territorios como sea posible.

Por ello, esta iniciativa de gestión colaborativa y optimizada de la movilidad bajo demanda, mediante la puesta a disposición de rutas de autobús, se concreta en el diseño ad hoc de rutas optimizadas para autobuses, a partir de los siguientes criterios:

• Priorización del uso compartido de autobuses en la medida de lo posible.
• En su defecto, servicio de fletado de autobuses que dan servicio de forma consecutiva al máximo número de equipos posibles.
• Búsqueda activa de las rutas más eficientes desde el punto de vista económico, ambiental y social. 

Mediante esta iniciativa, el Ente Vasco de la Energía pretende aportar su contribución propia en un ámbito, como es el de la movilidad sostenible, que no constituye el ámbito medular de su actividad pero que le permite maximizar su contribución a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible que integran la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible.

Due to the needs of various sports teams to travel on weekends to attend sporting events, the Basque Agency for the Energy has launched an initiative named Together in the Sports Bus. This project aims at increasing the bus routes available to all clubs and teams whose players need to travel around their territories in order to reach their matches and competitions.

Therefore, this initiative intends to develop a model of collaborative management of the journeys, whereby bus routes are made available to people in order to make it possible to avoid the use of cars. This is accomplished through the design of ad hoc bus routes according to the following criteria:

• Prioritizing the shared use of already existing bus routes.
• Next, offering a service of bus that offer successive rides to different clubs and teams.
• In general, making use of the most efficient routes both from the economic and environmental perspective.

Through this initiative, the Basque Agency for the Energy intends to contribute to a sustainable future not only through its main activities related to energy provision, but also through initiatives such as this, that help to maximize its positive impacts regarding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) contained in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
