La Agencia Estatal Boletín Oficial del Estado es un organismo público, adscrito al Ministerio de la Presidencia, que ha desarrollado un proceso de mejora e innovación continua para difundir legislación y normativa.
Esta estrategia de modernización ha sido determinante para la creación del Sistema Integrado de Difusión Legislativa. Este Sistema se compone de dos productos: la legislación consolidada y los códigos electrónicos; y un servicio: alertas «BOE a la carta».
