La iniciativa "Gijón-IN", ciudad innovadora, inteligente e integradora, tiene por objeto la utilización intensiva de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC). "Gijón-IN" pretende optimizar los servicios municipales a través de su plena digitalización, a la que incorpora técnicas innovadoras de inteligencia de datos y de gestión pública avanzada consolidando para ello la plataforma de gestión integral municipal. La integración circular Ayuntamiento-ciudad-personas-Ayuntamiento vertebra cada uno de los 16 componentes de la iniciativa, que se agrupan en cinco ejes: gobierno inteligente, servicios públicos inteligentes, crecimiento inteligente, turismo inteligente y gobernanza.

The iniciative called “Gijón-IN”, innovative, intelligent and integrative city, aims at the intensive use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Gijón-IN aims to optimize municipal services through its full digitization, which incorporates innovative techniques of data intelligence and advanced public management, thereby consolidating the municipal comprehensive management platform. The circular integration of Town Hall-city-people-Town Hall structures each of the 16 components of the initiative, which are grouped into five axes: smart government, smart public services, smart growth, smart tourism and governance.
